How can you say it's theft"? These are real votes from real people being counted. And every squeaker election is subject to these kind of recounts. Bush just recounted New Mexico and went ahead. Are you applying a double-standard here? And Gore is 200,000+ ahead in the popular vote. Morally he should win this election anyway. It was the narrow will of the people. And don't forget how many Nader voters are kicking themselves for throwing it Bush's way. In short, more people prefer Gore to Bush in this country, not my much but that much is clear. Also the first electronic recount proved to be 1500 votes off. Actually more because Bush got more votes too. Therefore we already know machines make mistakes. It's always safer to hand count so long as every tabulation is double-checked. Have we arrived at a point where we trust only machines? I know I don't.
