The Bush Sr. administration had plenty of scandals of its own, in case you've forgotten Irangate, for instance, and the Contra War and all the cocaine kingpins who were allowed to function freely in exchange for strategic assistance. I'm not saying the Bushes are bad people, just that I'm sick of hearing criticism and baseless ridicule of Gore. It was all campaign rhetoric and most of it disinformation to try and assassinate his character. Heard plenty of it from the far left too.
