Thanks Unc,

I guess we figure that things will "settle again" in a short time relative to our investment windows.

That's why I posted this question to you. I needed a good dose of reality thinking, the type that always seems abundant here on the G&K. Yes I do remember rule 10 (as well as 1-9) but these days it is a little tougher to keep the FUD from seeping in a bit.

You know the old saying about when you are up to your ass in alligators it is hard to remember the reason you are there is to drain the swamp. I look at the whole voting fiasco and it's effect on the market, however temporarily it may be, as that alligator effect and it is taking some serious bites out of the old portfolio. If someone knows how to calmly deal with this I am all ears.

I am not concerned about our group of companies in the long term, but not being as seasoned an investor as many here, it is tough to ignore the short term when it is taking you down, 40, 50, 60%.

Thanks for listening and I will keep up with everyone's posts, as they have the reconfirmation effect I need.

My Best,
Joel
