I disagree with your line of questioning, but agree that the legal challenge is misguided. As for your decorum and honor schneid, I admit it's a gaffe on their part, but it is clear that it is preemptive, since Warren Christopher has made it eminently clear they intend to battle to the very end. While I disagree with the maneuver, I don't see it as impugning dignity, decorum or honor.

How much bull crap has Gore fed us up to this point. This is the 1st Bush gaffe of any nature.

There is a big difference between Texas and Florida hand counts. In Texas there are very specific statewide rules on how to determine how the hand count vote is called based on the condition of the ballot. In Florida, the locality is making it up as they go along to make sure Gore gets more votes. (example - it used to be you had to have the three of the four stringers broken from the card's chadd. They just changed the rules in Palm Beach so that now only one stringer has to be damaged. Now low and behold Gore is getting more votes.) I used to have some respect for Gore. I was willing to accept him as my president. Now I have no respect for him. As far as I am concerned Bush is my president. On January 20 we will see a rapist and liar leave the office of president. We will see a thief move in. Even worse a Vote thief. I would feel the same if Bush pulled this type of stunt.
