Why do you ignore the fact that the largest tax cut (mainly for the haves) was signed sealed and delivered by CLINTON?

Clinton has been a very good fiscal manager. He first brought the budget under control, then signed the tax cut.

I don't trust Bush to be as intelligent or responsible.

Taxes went up during the Reagan years, not down. They went up by lowering the tax rate. The actual revenues collected by the government went up dramatically. The problem was that spending went up even faster. Historically, lowering tax rates, within a certain range, result in increased government revenue.
