I will always believe that she voted for the manual hand-recount of all ballots in the county out of the deep sense of guilt she feels because she designed the ballot her Democratic mentors claim cost Gore the election. The Democratic hammers probably pulled her aside before the vote and filled her head with things like, "okay, Theresa, you have severely f*cked over your own party here, but you now have a chance for redemption. You need to go out there and vote to recount every vote by hand in this county. Then, you need to make sure you give every ballot the most extreme benefit of the doubt in favor of Gore. No go out there Theresa, and don't f*ck up again!"
