<< Somehow I have a feeling that Gore and his buddies are not upset at all over the butterfly ballot. The more times ballots change hands, the more the opportunity for mischief. Upset? Hell no, they're pleased. All a con game. >>

Indeed it is. But the republicans have shown that they stand on higher ground. I believe that if the vote count in Florida (once it comes to its full conclusion) is in favor of Gore, the Bush camp will graciously concede. This is counter to what the Democrats stated they would do. Already the Gore camp has stated that they will pursue (frivolous) law suits to their conclusion. They have stated that unless Gore wins, the outcome will not be the will of the people.

Those statements by the democrats will stand as unforgivable for all eternity.

Damage has already been done to our country. The world looks at us differently than they did before. How can we step in to oversee another countries democratic processes when we can't handle our own.

26,000 votes were discarded due to a confusing ballot in a republican county of Florida. 19,000 votes were discarded due to a confusing ballot in Palm Beach. You don't see an equivalent to Jackson in upstate Florida. You don't see a huge conglomerate of republicans calling everyone in that upstate county and telling they were ripped off and they should protest and sue. You see it in Palm Beach because the democrats have no scruples, they have no morals.

In my opinion.

Dave

I understand the Gore campaign started calling their Palm Beach County faithful from their phone bank during the day on Tuesday telling them about the ballot and giving them talking points and encouraging them to complain about it. Revolting and sickening libs.
