I wouldn't oppose a state recount. I agree that
would be fairer to all. We may end up there.

As to the extension, my understanding is that one
can ask for an extension under the existing law.
In other words, the demos aren't filing a lawsuit,
they are simply working within the framework of
the current law which allows for
more time (if formally requested).

If they are filing a lawsuit
then I would agree with you, but I don't think
that's the case.

I haven't heard that the demopublicans have tried to stand in the way of a statewide recount. I think both sides really need to take a chill pill.
