"Anachronistic punch card ballots"
I'll say, haven't seen those things since High School. They aren't even used throughout Florida. But I also didn't hear Bush campaign complaining about the hand count done in New Mexico either on punch cards. Yes, I am fully aware that was a more limited count, but still.

Now I think it would have been better to have the manual count done on only those ballots kicked out for whatever reason. But the complaints and scenarios of potential problems is such that there will probably be no one satisfied by whatever is done. I think those that charge deliberate mis-counting to be far off base, with observers from both parties and Federal Marshals present that would be transcendentally stupid.

No, this whole debacle is a test of the two candidates character, and they both are getting poor marks. I just brought this one up because George "The Lying Weasel" Bush is doing exactly the sort of stuff that he has been accusing Al "The Tin Man" Gore of. Just like throughout this whole campaign. This is why I didn't vote for either one.
