<ot>Hi Seamus & El - while I am happy CPQ has a very good handheld that should be a great seller, it may be a mistake for DELL to enter the mkt when PALM, HAND, CPQ and HWP have already had major product offerings. There are also a slew of related devices like RIMM and MOT.

More important, PALM, CPQ and HWP are engineering class acts. Their respective devices are more or less a fixed model. These companies will rely the yield via engineering and manufacturing prowess to provide a fat margin. DELL's BTO model may be like fish-out-of-water here. Instead, it should use its marketing power to garner a piece of the sale. Sure, being a VAR may not provide the best margin, but DELL simply is not famous for being its own OEM and these devices do rely on yields.

Just a guess though

best, Bosco
