And I respectfully suggest, Mason, that you do NOT understand the historical precedents on the precinct level where the "blue hair grunt work" actually occurs and has been occuring for several decades. There is a protocol and there are observers. To accuse those dedicated people of either sloth or slovenly execution of their sworn duty is unconscionable and irresponsible rhetoric. All handwringers, IN MY OPINION, have forgotten that hand counting was the way it was done before machines, which have unequivocally also proven themselves to be UNreliable and not just in this election either. The republic will survive, it's just that one team of candidates won't. Long live the Republic.
