More power to your system George.

I believe that was NASD intent all along to flood the market with LIQUID stock certificates until it couldn't go up any more....

George, do you have a free link that provides the McClellan Oscillator? I subscribe to IQ Charts but their McClellan Osc doesn't work.

>>>When the oscillator gets heavily overbought as it recently, the market almost never mounts a sustainable rally>>>>

thats not always true George, sometimes the oscillator makes a breath initiation thrust of a major bottom and retreats, while the averages go on to make higher highs, the oscillator peaked on 8/11, while the averages went on to make new highs up until 8/31 is the latest example of that, only in non trending trading range markets have i noticed the averages turn down with the oscilator, in the trading range market after the 97 crashette you could have gone short when the oscillator got over 150 and gone long when at -150 and made precision trades, until it broke out of the trading range in february 98.

bearish/bullish divergences in the oscillator are good set-ups for turning points, i posted in the first week of september the bearish divergence in the oscillator/summumation.
