>>Note I said seem, because note that the Secretary of State has now said that any results that aren't certified by Tuesday evening will not be included.<< mamma, it seems that ethics in this administration are so low they will stoop to anything and not feel the least bit remorse. essentially, they are precluding any attempt to recount republican districts. the courts, imho don't want to decide the election, but the secretary of state will. al gore will win and the MAJORITY view will be that he stole it. partisan hacks will think this is a good thing. most folks, however, will view gore as a punk - and rightfully so. i can't imagine the gridlock gore will face since his utter hypocrisy has been exposed. i think the same is true for bush, but he doesn't have 8 years baggage of slimeballness weighing him down and, more importantly, he ain't gonna win so it is a moot point.
