Rich, I am unaware of the details of the Berg loan or the IDB funds. Can you briefly expand on that. It seems to me that cash should be an immediate concern when you are 45 days away from running out.

By the way, (with respect to the ongoing debate on the length of the patents) if my memory is accurate, patents are issued retroactively to the date of first application. During the application process you are "patent pending". Once you file, your science is open to public review. If someone uses it while you are still awaiting the issuance of the patent, then you can go after them when you are issued the patent.

On yet another note, I tried to determine if I could find anything about the Telcordia technology. They are a large company involved in selling services and developing products for the telecommunication business. I don't know how they ended up in battery patents. Perhaps they acquired these patents together with other technology from Belcore, and they are just disposing of technology that they never intended to be involved in. Just speculation on my part. Perhaps someone else knows the history of this Belcore-Telcordia-Valence technology. I do note that Telcordia did not think this deal with Valence was worthy of mentioning on their web site, although they do post all corporate developments.
