In most of the state the laws allow only the loser to require a recount. Yes, the GOP might have been arrogant, but the democrats are not any better. Read this, "If the will of the people is to prevail, Al Gore should be awarded a victory in Florida and be our next President.". Does this mean that "If Al Gore is not awarded a victory in Florida and be our next President, the people's will will be not prevail"? How Mr. Daley, who is not God, knows that the peoples' will is Al Gore be President?
