It would also be wonderful to see an election where probably 80% to 90% of registered voters voted - which is likely the case if there was a new national vote.

At the very least, it will be interesting to see the turnout at the mid-term election in 2 years. I bet those senators coming up are wondering how this is going to affect their re-election plans.
