OT - Hello Iso! I come from a small Catholic family, just 9 kids, 7 boys and 2 girls. I was born and raised in the NE. My parents are diehard Democrats and so were we. A relative of mine was a Governor of a northeastern state and later served as a cabinet member for one of our presidents. Only problem was, he was a Republican. Nobody in my immediate family ever voted for him because we thought of him as a traitor for not being a democrat. As I grew older and started paying attention to politics a little more, I realized that the democrats maintained their power by keeping us dumb and dependent. They maintained their power by dividing the people with the use of class envy, racism and other means. My brothers kept up with politics, my sisters didn't. Bottom line is all the boys in the family are now republicans, the girls still democrats. I guess some of us learn quicker than others about the reason the democrats chose the "jackass" as their party symbol. dabum
