I guess the comments about the intelligence of PB voters may be true after all. In any event, I don't think the overvote/Buchanan thing -- which could only be resolved by a court -- is the issue at this point anyway. I just don't think Gore will pursue a lawsuit over that. The issue is the state authorized manual count, the same type that the Governor of Texas said is the preferred way of doing a recount. As I have said a number of times, I think a statewide manual recount is the way to go.
