That's what I think, too. I think we have a new Prez and his name is Dubya. But I wonder what the political fallout will be, because the Florida election code provides for legal action to challenge votes, and that seems to be in conflict with giving the Secretary of State the right not to count contested votes if it takes longer than a week. Seems inconsistent and unworkable to me.

I've also developed a taste for a drink I invented myself - kind of like a mojito - crushed mint leaves, sugar, soda water, and lime juice, but I use vodka instead of rum. Very clean tasting, refreshing, and just the thing to cut the bitter and sour taste I get in my mouth while watching the news on CNN. The mojito is the national drink of Cuba, was Hemingway's favorite drink, and is very popular in South Florida.

CNN reporting that Volusia county-wide hand recount will probably be completed tomorrow. It looks like the person looking at the ballots is just handing the questionable ones straight to the canvassing board without discussion.
