In defense of Ted David and other CNBC folks. I am actually impressed with their ability to follow all the technology, business, and other events going on and make it seem like baseball, football or some other more pedestrian subject. Also, it is probably true that Henry Samuelli has little patience for others who don't know tech as well as him. I had the fortune of taking classes from him at UCLA in the late 80s and he had very little patience with me and anyone else not seeing eye-to-eye with him. But then again, the man is a genious so what do you expect.

We all appreciate the public apology.

As has already been mentioned, they have a lot of information to cover and it would be fairly impossible to be up to speed of knowing every single company inside out that they discuss.

I actually tried to locate the contact information on CNBC to thank them for their excellent coverage they did during the Emulex hoax, but couldn't find an e-mail address to send my thanks. It was some of the better coverage I've seen by reporters in a long, long time. Hats off to CNBC for that.
