Gore's reliance on his interpretation of Florida law will come back to haunt him, I think. There was already a valid recount that I think they'll be forced to certify if they want any of their votes to count come Tuesday. Look for Gore legal challenges to "selective" statutes.

Now that would give Bush a significant lead :) Is it possible the Gore people would attempt to stop their own hand re-count? Would they have that authority once it had started? I would guess not.
