That's a bunch of crap.

Stocks DO have intrinsic value, and although "sentiment" is PART of the valuation process, it is by no means the predominant basis for valuations.

This is also a bunch of crap. If Livermore said that, then it's obvious he didn't know what he was talking about.

For example, a stock worth zero can't go any lower, and there definitely is an upside limit to how high any stock can go.

I would agree to that. Today the qqq looked like they have hit bottom and bounced very nicely. If this election is over tomorrow then the stock market will rebound quickly. Just wait and watch. The market wants the bush plan.
