When a party sweeps the hobo colonies and hospices for any warm body that can be dragged to the polls (and then prays they can manage to pull the right lever two thirds of the time) and then, playing a sympathetic media like a violin, declares it "the will of the people", anyone who lends their good name to them can only damage that good name in the longer run...
