That is the way I heard it too. Lev said they are in no need of financing at the moment, and IDB is finishing up on the formal part of their audit.

It was great reading many of these posts, especially the ones that turned very good news into serious problems. Lev never stated that Ireland was going to stop producing batteries, only that it was possible, as Qualcomm stopped producing phones. At this point Lev is going to be very very busy. Basically, IMO, he will be able to hand over to whomever he is most comfortable with, the second source status for a number of possible contracts. What could be better; Go back to your potential customer, Dell, Gateway, Compaq, Apple, and say, "OK we now have a second source of supply for the polymer battery. We believe you should be comfortable with them, because we are, they are a licensee of ours." Not only does VLNC get the primary contract, they also get the royalties from the second source.
