mishedlo... "... when he signed such a law himself. I believe he looks really stupid here."

I explained this in my previous post. I suggest you read it to be better informed.

mishedlo... "Florida law gives a candidate so long to file for a recount."

72 hours to be exact. Why would he ask for a recount when he had already been told he had won? Then they called for a second count. He was told that he had won that. Again why would he ask for a recount? Now they called for a manual recount. After that the manual recount was granted by a vote of two Democrats to one Republican. By now the 72 hours have come and gone. I know you are such a fair person that you will think this is OK.

The state laws of Florida are interfering with the United States Government and the Constitution. I do not believe the feds will not allow this. Federal laws take precedence over state laws. The way things are going in Florida you are looking at a fixed Presidential election.

Mishedlo,

Richard, personally I am in favor of a recount in every county in Florida.

When do they stop? Do we keep using less and less accurate counting mechanisms?

It appears that 5:00PM tomorrow as per the law is now the deadline. If they're not done, I assume the last count stands?
