DownSouth, Dell has said they are aggressively going after the storage market with their direct model. I am very long NTAP and would be interested in your thoughts on this matter.

I went to a conference last week on financing start-ups. The speaker at lunch was a partner at Sequoia Capital - a major VC firm on Sand Hill Road (Palo Alto, CA for those across the country). He said they had two favorite areas for investment these days and one of them was network storage. He said it will be one of the major growth areas over the next few years.

IT policy here is to try to cap per-user storage space. Special approvals needed for an increment...
