I always admit I'm partisan. You don't. You post as if from a moral pulpit looking down on democrats. I have no such illusions. Major parties are very similar. It's the issues and the credentials of the candidate I think about most of all. McCain was your candidate but you nominated a poster boy instead. Bush hasn't said anything intelligent in a long time. His whole message is "look at me, I'm the winner because the networks called it. I am so priviledged and am the rightful heir. Now get this over with and let's let my daddy's old Cold War oil business gang take over again", as if he and his daddy's cronies own this country already even though he's behind in the popular vote and the electoral college (so far anyway).

I applaud any legal effort to stop this slick but arrogant SOB. He is un-qualified to be president and will be a lousy one. The old men from his daddy's unsuccessful regime will run everything for him. The only upside of him getting in is he'll be a one-termer. Unless of course the American public buys into his good-looks and BS personality which I admit are fairly impressive.

Read the Red Herring interview with Gore, then listen to any Bush speech. We're talking visionary caring genius vs. good ole rich kid bumpkin. It's painfully obvious.

Still our country will survive nomatter what, though maybe parts of our environment won't. I accept that much and can live with it if I have to. But when I hear Republicans moralizing and the Bush people in total denial claiming they've already won the election it makes me want to laugh, except it isn't funny.
