Hi Scumbria, re:...Colorado overwhelmingly passed a bill requiring background checks at gun shows... Normally, I don't post on gun stuff - tend to be ambivalent. But I have to wonder, would such background checks have done squat to prevent a Columbine? If not (my assumption), what makes one think that the overreaction that's likely to occur after the election (assuming there is an "after", :^) will be effective? ~dbf
