If anything that looked like a political compromise was in the works that would actually look like statesmanship. But no matter who wins is there anyone out there who thinks the legitimacy of the Administration will be unassailable for either party going the path they are going? If the Dems and Repubs had a shared brain cell they would come together and try to form a coalition government body out of this mess. So does anyone want to see an attempt at political compromise: a jointly selected bipartisan cabinet, maybe?
