Jim,

Nixon is the guy who tried to subvert the 1972 election by having the Democratic Party headquarters broken into. Please spare us the Nixon restraint lecture. It is rather nauseating.

The recount was automatic under state law. DUH

Only a moron would not ask for a hand recount, with a 300 vote delta and 19,000 unread ballots.

Bush is the one going outside the bounds of Florida law.

Do you flip-flop around in the political tank as much as you do in the AMD-Intel tank? Are you for or against the electoral college, states rights, going to court, etc?

It is not OK for you or Bush to change your stance as convenient.

Scumbria

<<History does not bear you out on this>>

History has nothing to do with it.
Nixon and Bush are not the same person.

Well on second thought maybe Nixon/Watergate and Bush/Win at any cost politics -
I suppose those could be construed to be the same.

Thanks for pointing that out to the thread
