Scumbria, re: Democracy will survive. This really is a small problem compared to Watergate (at least until the truth comes out about Volusia County.) I think you are wrong. Watergate, Clintons indiscretions, all those are petty compared with the issue of the transfer of power. That is the essence of our republic (not democracy), and it has always been handled in a civil manner, until now. As evidence, I don't think that Watergate or Clinton's impeachment had the effect on the markets that this "situation" (how long before the media calls it a "crisis") has. John
