Dealer - Britons laugh at US vote tangle

Not all Briton laugh at the US.

1. British General Elections are based on just over 600 Parliamentary Constituencies each of which is decided on a first past the post basis. It is quite possible for Gt Britain to elect enough MPs to Parliament to form a Government but to have at the same time another party with more total votes cast for it over the whole country. In fact with three main parties contesting British elections today the Prime Minister almost always has a big majority of the votes cast against his party.

You can always find a bunch of morons to give quotes to the press about a subject that they know absolutely nothing at all about even in Gt Britain. Go around enough and you can find almost any view you like.

You can always find people to laugh at the US even in Gt Britain. Meantime there are millions of people from all over the World whose only dream in life is to come to the US and many of whom are even prepared to risk death in order to get to the US.

Best regards,

L
