Yes, I think I shall pass on the Jets tonight, I'm glad I did not bet (although the Jets have made me a small stack over the years). Watched the Giant fans squirm in agony this afternoon, I do not wish a replay.

Vegas was definitely a fun trip. I wish I could have booked the Rio, it was sold out when I tried. How did you like it?

I always have a good time in Vegas, but then I've been winning a bit. I'm a spendthrift though. If I wasn't lucky I'd be walking home.

<leave them wondering what happened after a few cocktails:)>

You may be correct. My son started wondering how much he had....he's only 17, although he told SmoothSail he was 22.

I said you never count, you'll just get drunk thinking about it.

He said "I am drunk".

So I counted, we were at the cigar bar in NY, NY, and I was bombing down Louie Trey. So I thought about it and told him, he had knocked down 9, I did 14.

Then I pulled a Dudley Moore on him (Arthur). You know, "I'll have another scotch; would you like another fish"? First time I ever saw anyone turn various shades of pale at a bar. There must have been a mixup at the maternity ward.

I guess in retrospect I should have cut him back but hey, he's a college kid. These guys are supposed to be able to bury old men like us, I thought he could take it.
