I'm surprised you've taken umbrage at our exchange.

Sorry, UF, I did not take umbrage at our exchange and I realize you are a most cordial person. I think my feelings were more directed toward the person I was responding to and were probably expressed poorly. I any case, I'd rather not go there anymore as I think we all have better things to do.

I don't know if you've read the Gorilla Game, but if you want to become a ltb&h investor, as you stated, it might be a good idea to review it.

I have RTFMed, but it has been more than a year. It is on my reading list, and these days, I am reading as opposed to trading. I am trying to have a balance between what I think of as Perspective and Tools. Perspective would be trying to gain a broader picture of our market, in the context of US market history and in the context of other markets and times. Tools would be areas of focus, like the Gorilla Game, which are instruments that I believe may or may not be useful, depending on where we are in history.

It is my belief that some Tools work better than others, not because they are necessarily inherently superior, but because they are better suited to the given historical context. Whether it is possible to correctly identify our current context, and correctly choose and use the appropriate tools, remains to be seen.
