Tommy, I absolutely agree. It was shrewd of the Gore people to come up with this method of obtaining an apparent victory. This is typical of the Clinton/gore MO. They find a technicality and work it for all it is worth. My contention is, that if they count any counties by hand then they should count them all. That, however, would not necessarily be to the Gore advantage. Gore took very few counties in Florida. His support is in the large urban areas. I am ashamed to reside in a state that will apparently give the presidency to Gore. He will probably be unable to accomplish much of his agenda due to the obvious resistance he will encounter by Republicans. It will make it more difficult for Hillary to obtain the nomination if Gort is in the whitehouse. My son is looking forward to casting his first vote against Hillary though.
