Eric: We had 3 people with established credentials stating that non CDMA carriers are analysing the business case for 1X HDR as a more efficient overlay than GPRS or EDGE. That is a confirmation that QCOM is playing a much larger role in the standards process as Giler mentioned in his last article. Since no orders have been placed, you are correct in pointing out that the discussions are still in the works. Thanks for the brilliant observation.
