If I'm not mistaken, we agree. In that light, of course, maybe 1% of Democrats are other than yokels. Hey, you brought the word in! Aside from that, yes, though Democrats are spread around, and worthy and often educated "yokels" of all stripes are out there voting, there is indeed I agree, a separation between the country and the city. As you've said, the Electoral College was set up to protect the interests of the less populated areas of the country. Bush has it, though he may not "win." Dan B
