LOOK What I Found!!! It turns out that most of those 19,120 "disqualified votes" were actually ballots that had been discarded after voters had asked for and were given new ones. This information was obtained by Mary Matalin who took the unheard-of step of calling local election officials in Florida and asking about it.

The Edge of the ABYSS
Gore Tries To Steal What He Couldn't Win

And all of this in the parking lot as well, before they succumbed to the screaming meemies, that is. What is there to say? If anybody really believes this clumsily concocted tale of woe they have my heartfelt sympathy. As for the lawsuit filed on Wednesday, it was withdrawn on Thursday. Does the expression "laughed out of court" ring a bell?

No doubt this will strike the intellectually challenged members of our dauntless mainstream press as an unfair tactic, whiny-brat petulance being much in vogue these days. After all, it's so much more convenient for them to simply report as Revealed Truth everything that has been blast-faxed to them from Gore headquarters -- the recount figures, for example. The Gore people claim that the recount gave Bush a plurality of 327 votes, whereas the official state total was 960. Which version did your media report to you? Don't tell me, let me guess
