Scumbria, re: ...Didn't the guns come from a gun show?... At least one came from an older friend who had obtained the gun legally (as I recall). He was prosecuted for providing a firearm to a minor (existing law, which didn't stop the tragedy either). While I am not a "gun fanatic", I sure don't want to change the status quo (and give up freedoms/rights in the process) unless I can see a clear benefit. The "gun show" law may have benefits, but it wouldn't have helped prevent Columbine IMHO. ~dbf
