Gore does not just memorize numbers. He grasps entire issues very quickly including all the many ramifications. His weakness is charisma, maybe a little fear of flying and occasional lack of easy-going charm (though he's okay with all that just not great). But he would be without a doubt the most brilliant president we've ever had, and one of the most caring. I have seen him at work personally and I can attest to this. Just look at what he's tackled; intricate arms control and nuclear details, technical environmental issues, the internet before anyone knew what it was, etc. etc. Tha man is most impressive. If not for the enormous $100,000,000 character assassaination campaign waged against him that would be clear for all to see. He is also very trustworthy. Which is why the GOP attacked him on this. They attacked his strengths not his weaknesses. It was a smart strategy and might just keep him out of office. That's politics.
