No, both had experience in an executive post that was not ceremonial, and for the current crisis comparison, both had political experience. Bush's experience has been to say Gee Thanks Mr.Rainwater when he was handed something that he was too clueless to achieve on his own.

I suspect it isn't going to happen for him this time.
