<<Asian markets getting CREAMED! HK down 500+ 11:30 PM ET:>>

Yes Hong Kong down 3+%, BUT Pakistan and Sri Lanka UP a bit. (vbg)

Maybe not too bad since our DOW down 2.1% and Nas down 5.4% Friday. This should be a heck of a week. I lightened a bit late Friday - most of shares I bought earlier in the day. Invested 102% now. Plan to ride it out and buy if/when OSX goes down 5% or so.

Sold a lot of covered calls near last minor peak. I'm no longer looking for home runs in the patch. Just going for singles and maybe a double down the line.

I'm feeling a little fearful/excited. This most often indicates a good point to buy. Fundamentals in patch still seem good to me. OPEC to hold here and decrease production toward spring. NG demand rising now with cold, and in summer with increased electric generation.

A reasonably smooth (Greenspan) landing for the economy, and a prolonged but gradual patch boom seem to be the most likely scenarios here.

Dell only growing at 20%, seems to be a harbinger of a possible Nasdaq drop to maybe 2800, and most likely not a big plunge to 2200 area.

OT: Pressure will build this week for an expeditious resolution to the Presidential election mess. A market plunge will greatly add to the pressure, and hence may help bring about its (market's) own rebound.

Stay steady and nimble. Winkman
