how come everyone's advice around here about removing EMOTION from the MARKET does not apply to the ELECTION?

Try removing the emotion from your perception of the post-election scrimmage. Forget how much so and so is a slime-ball and look at who has a plan, who is executing, who is moving on how many fronts, which way is the trend going, and while your at it think about what Leo Durocher said.
