Mr. Howe: Like all the Republicans who have posted here, when you finally get frustrated at reasoned debate, you turn to name-calling. Why? I saw in the NY Times and in the SF Chronicle a photograph of the disputed ballot. It was confusing. I also read in both papers that Florida law requires the nominees or issues to be on the left and the place to vote on the right. I have also read that Florida law requires that the listed order of candidates from top to bottom must be in the order of votes received in the primary elections. If what you say is true about a confusing ballot in Republican counties, I would expect to see that in the New York Times. I will check tomorrow. I consider the Times to be an exceptionally reliable newspaper as do millions of others. I prefer to rely on the Times and my own research than TV reporters. I can research Florida law tomorrow and I intend to. I note that you had nothing to say about my point about comparng the total number of votes to the number of signatures in Palm Beach County in order to determine accurately whether the 19k discarded ballots were revoted. Do you think name calling is better than accurate, informed and reasoned thinking? I don't though it is tempting when you and your ilk keep doing it to me.
