Dave, the investors dumping Microsoft since the antitrust trial were smarter than you think. They didn't dump the stock because it was somehow perceived as the morally or legally wrong company, but it was perceived as a company under the govt gun. The govt wields powerful weapons. That's the reason to avoid the stock. It is the economy stupid! People do vote their pocketbooks. An anti-business person is bad for the economy. That's the reason for disliking Gore, that's all.
