I read what you posted earlier and would note that American History is rife with tampering and voter fraud. So what? It is not isolated to any particular party. They all have done their dirty tricks. From the inception of the Republic too.

We however are in the here and now. We should demand better of both of the men who would be President here. Gore at least has stood back and made no claim of victory as Bush has. Bush could learn from his example. Gore and Bush could decide to be more noble and know when to quit as well. But as it stands there is no great harm that I see in the on-going process. It seems to be working in fact.

Just because Election night has stretched out into nearly a week now is no reason to be concerned that I can see. We will be far better off to get it right than rush to a hasty conclusion without consummating the major avenues of recourse. I think we will all know when the time comes to ask one of them - the one who delays merely for the sake of delay - to step off the stage.

I think we will all be better for it to let it play out. (The Markets may not agree, but then maybe that just makes for juicy opportunities. Time will tell.)
