They can count quite a few votes in that time frame. They found 19 extra votes for Gore couting 1%. I think the Dems will find enough votes to go back on top. That's the nature of a hand count you find more votes. The Republicans were foolish imho not to ask for a hand count in Republican counties at the same time the Dems asked for one. The deadline ended Sat I believe for the Republicans to ask for one. My guess is that they will either have to throw out the additional hand count votes or they'll eventually end up recounting all the counties. Otherwise it's blantantly unfair.

Mounting behind the scenes pressure on Gore ? ... some of the editorials this weekend are pushing Gore to accept the electronic recount and the final absentee count come this friday. Win, lose, or draw - the powers behind the scenes imho; may pressure him live with this friday's final absentee count & the initial electronic recount and conceed if need be. I think the market plays a great role in what Gore can , or can not do. ... we shall see OSX looking okay here; my stops stay in place & allow me to be emotionally detached (VBG). This could be better than OJ & Elian before its over ~ The Reeeeeeeeeeeeverrrrrrrrrand Jaaaaaaaaacksssssson has a little old time religion planned in the streets today (and they said to buy when there was blood in the streets - right ?)... I'd sure hate to have a downtown electronics, or jewelry storefront today - the voters just might decide to do a little shoppin' too. - can't we all just get along ?
