if the deadline for certifying the vote is not going to be extended, and the recount will not be over, are they are going to count the ballots that have been counted, up to that moment in the partial recount?

and

are they are going to certify the vote (for the counties) and then wait 3 more days before announcing the absentee ballot results

or

are they going to follow the mailman on his route? you know, sort of like watching OJ drive down the freeway.

Because Gore has shown no class, no patriotism, no courage, and no respect for the republic. What he has shown is that he learned from his mentor about how to manipulate, how to use legalism, how to obfuscate, and how to place his own ego ahead of the nation's interest. Unless he is willing to change in the next few days, which I doubt, I can see him pursuing slash-and-burn trench warfare through the political landscape, with the result that even if Bush won the vote, he would only oversee a deeply divided country for the next four years. I would rather see Bush step aside, let the whiners have the country, and come back in four years to clean up the mess they have made.
