Tippet, The Bush people are claiming that the reason they are against the Florida hand recount but have a similar one in Texas is that the Texas law has standards set that cover the whole state in terms of the things that might be considered subjective. The other reason I have heard, but can not verify, is that in Texas there is no automated recount prior to the hand recount. Net, there is one recount in Texas and we have already done that in Florida. But obviously they are also against it because they win without it. Why take the risk? Wayne
