Dear Doc: I too am from Palm Beach county, if I had my druthers, I would druther have an entire NEW ELECTION in Florida since I believe incredible cheating and the media false announcement helped Gore and hurt Bush. BUT, that isnt possible, nor IMHO is an entire state hand recount. There have been at least 2 and in Palm Beach county 3 machine recounts. I think its time to call a halt and await the outcome of the unreceived mail in ballots. I think it is absurdly unfair to handcount ONLY those districts wherein which the Dems feel they have an advantage. I also think that while machine counting may not be perfect more likely then not any errors that occur statistically would balance out for each side. JDN
